Where to Buy Boxing Equipment in Abu Dhabi
Where Abu Dhabi actually sells boxing gloves and kit, what to buy first, what it costs, and how next-day delivery in the capital works.

You can buy boxing equipment in Abu Dhabi in three places: the sports chains in the big malls, the pro shop at your boxing gym, and UAE online brands. If you want a specific glove weight or a leather pair, online is usually quickest. FYYTR delivers same or next day in Abu Dhabi on orders before 2pm, free over AED 200.
The capital has a serious boxing scene for its size. Amateur shows, national championships and a steady stream of new gyms mean more people buying their first gloves every month, and a market that has not quite kept up with them.
Where does Abu Dhabi sell boxing gear?
Mall sports retailers. The big chains in Yas Mall, Abu Dhabi Mall and Al Wahda carry entry level gloves, wraps and skipping ropes. Being able to hold the glove is a real advantage. The range thins out above beginner level, and a 16oz pair or a leather glove is often an order rather than a shelf item.
Gym pro shops. Most boxing gyms keep a small rail near reception. The range is narrow but the advice is the best you will get, because the coach selling it watches people train in that gear every day. Where people train in the capital is covered in boxing gyms in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
UAE online brands. This is where the range sits, and where nobody is paying mall rent out of the price of your glove. The question is the seller, not the product: where it ships from, how fast, and what a return costs. Buying boxing equipment online in the UAE covers what to check.
What should you buy first?
Wraps, then gloves, then nothing else for a while.
Laaf hand wraps at AED 49 come first because almost no gym lends them, and they protect both your hands and your gloves. Then one pair of training gloves. The Haawi H-1 is AED 249 in 8oz and AED 299 in 10, 12 and 14oz, and 14oz suits most adults for bags, pads and light partner work.
If you are already training four or more times a week, the Mulakim M-1 in premium leather at AED 499 lasts longer under that load. The order of every later purchase is in boxing equipment for beginners.
How does delivery work in Abu Dhabi?
Orders placed before 2pm are delivered the same day or the next day in Abu Dhabi city. The rest of the emirate, including Al Ain and Al Dhafra, usually takes 1 to 3 business days.
Delivery is free on orders over AED 200 and a flat AED 25 below that, so a pair of gloves on its own already ships free. Returns within the UAE are free for 7 days: we send a courier to collect from your address, which makes ordering two sizes and sending one back a realistic way to get the fit right.
What does a full boxing kit cost in Abu Dhabi?
| Kit | What is in it | AED |
|---|---|---|
| Starting | Wraps and a 14oz training glove | 348 |
| Sparring | Add an open face headguard and a gym pouch | around 800 |
| Serious | Leather gloves, full protection headguard, wraps, pouch, towels | around 1,100 |
The jump from starting to sparring is the headguard at AED 379, and it only makes sense once you actually spar. A gym pouch at AED 69 is the small purchase people thank themselves for, because wet wraps in a rucksack all day is how kit starts to smell for good. What boxing equipment really costs breaks each tier down.
Training for a show in Abu Dhabi?
If you are heading for your first amateur bout, the kit rules change: gloves are often supplied and inspected, and headguard rules depend on your category. Your first amateur fight kit covers what you need to own and what the show provides, and amateur boxing in the UAE explains how to get to a first bout.
