To start boxing in Qatar you need two things: hand wraps and a 14oz training glove. From FYYTR that is AED 49 for Laaf hand wraps and AED 299 for a 14oz Haawi H-1, plus a flat AED 70 to deliver it to Doha. Qatar has no VAT and the delivery rate already covers customs clearance, so the price at checkout is the price you pay.

That last point matters more than it sounds. With most cross-border orders, the real cost only appears when the courier asks for duty at the door. For Qatar we pay the clearance up front and build it into the rate, so nothing is collected on delivery.

What boxing equipment do you need to start in Qatar?

Wraps first, gloves second, everything else later.

Hand wraps protect the small bones of the hand and the wrist, and nearly no gym lends them. 450cm suits most adult hands; how to wrap your hands for boxing shows the method.

Training gloves come next. The Haawi H-1 is AED 249 in 8oz and AED 299 in 10, 12 and 14oz, and covers bags, pads and light partner work. If you are already training four or more times a week, the Mulakim M-1 in premium leather at AED 499 holds its shape longer under that load.

That is the whole starting kit. Boxing equipment for beginners explains what to skip and why.

What does boxing equipment cost in Qatar?

A starting kit of wraps and a training glove comes to about AED 350, or roughly QAR 350, before delivery. A kit for someone who spars, with a headguard and a bag for wet kit, is closer to AED 800.

Add AED 70 delivery to Qatar to each. Where the money goes, and where it is wasted, is in what boxing equipment really costs.

How does delivery from the UAE to Qatar work?

Orders are packed in the UAE and dispatched within 1 to 2 business days. Delivery to Doha usually takes 2 to 5 business days after that, and you get a tracking link by email.

The rate is a flat AED 70 per order, whatever is in it. It is higher than our other Gulf rates because it includes customs clearance in Qatar, which we pay so that you do not have to deal with it at the door. Qatar does not charge VAT, so there is nothing to add.

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery for unused items. Return shipping from Qatar is paid by the customer unless the item arrived faulty or wrong.

What should a coach or gym in Doha buy?

Coaches need something different from members. Murabbi focus pads at AED 189 absorb full power combinations, and the lighter coaching paddles at AED 199 are built for speed and accuracy drills. Focus pads or punch paddles explains which drill each one suits.

If you are equipping a whole class, boxing equipment for gyms covers glove size spreads and replacement cycles. And for anyone carrying wet wraps between work and the gym, a gym pouch at AED 69 keeps them out of the bottom of the bag.
